MECALAB Isolator Glove Box Systems
Definition: Isolator
The isolator is a hermectically closed containment as barrier between operating personnel and interior workspace. As mechanical barrier, windows with gloves and special filter systems are installed. As physical barrier, all system work with a differential pressure principle, e.g isolator with negative pressure means that the pressure inside the workspace is lower than the corresponding atmospheric pressure outside.
